This class is designed for anyone interested in learning creative ways to use their stamps beyond traditional stamping. Throughout the class you'll learn 8 techniques that transform stamps into versatile tools for creating vintage effects, soft artistic looks, bold layered backgrounds, and more. You'll work with both Distress Inks and Distress Oxide Inks to explore their unique properties and discover when to use each for best results.
Each technique is broken down into easy to follow steps, and throughout the class I'll be sharing loads of tips and tricks as well. Whether you're here to expand your technique toolkit, add new dimension to your cardmaking, or simply enjoy some creative playtime, you're in the right place. The goal of this class is to boost your confidence in experimenting with your stamps and feel comfortable stretching what they can do in your cardmaking projects.

Once the live class is over, a recording of the class will be available in my online classroom where you will be able to access it by logging into the classroom.
Once the class has gone live, you will have access to a recording of the live class along with all other class content that you can enjoy whenever it fits your schedule. You will have ongoing access to all class content.

Water Reactive Dye Ink (5 colors total):
3 colors that coordinate well together (your choice)
2 neutral colors (such as brown and/or gray tones)
I will be using Distress Ink in Seedless Preserves, Uncharted Mariner, Speckled Egg, Walnut Stain, and Vintage Photo, but you can use any water-reactive dye ink brand you prefer.
Distress Oxide Ink:
For simplicity, I recommend choosing the same 5 colors as your water-reactive dye inks if you have them in both formats
If you only have Distress Oxide Ink (not regular Distress Ink), select 5 coordinating colors: 3 main colors + 2 neutrals
I will be using Distress Oxide Ink in Seedless Preserves, Uncharted Mariner, Speckled Egg, Walnut Stain, and Vintage Photo. Unfortunately, there is no substitute for Distress Oxide Ink for the specific techniques I'll be teaching with them. If you don't have Distress Oxide Ink, you can still follow along with the other techniques.
Permanent Waterproof Ink:
Black
Dark Brown (darker than Vintage Photo)
Darker shade of one of the water reactive inks you will be using (this is for a bonus technique)

1 Floral Outline Stamp that can be colored
1-2 Ephemera type stamp sets
1 Large Text/Script Background Stamp
1 Silhouette type stamp set
STENCILS
1 with large open areas
1 additional stencil of choice
TOOLS
Heat Tool
Craft Mat
Blending Brushes - one for each color of ink/type of ink
